Day Ten: Halifax to Bras d'Or Lake, Cape Breton

We continued on the Nova Scotia shore, stopping at the longest beach in the province - Martinique Beach. From there we cut up to Antigonish, but on the way we got pulled over and given a warning for not driving with day lights. We also found a coffee roastery, 522 Gourmet Coffee, in the middle of nowhere! Crossing into Cape Breton at the Canso causeway, we drove the southern shores of Bras D'Or to Sydney and continued to Big Bras D'or where we camped on the shores of Boularderie. It was very cold, damp and foggy. The campground dog was far more equipped for the piercing winds than we were!
