Cycling

We spent the whole day cycling through Boston - first to the Public Gardens and Swan Boats (inspiration for McClusky's Make Way for Ducklings), then to Cambridge along the Charles River, MIT, Harvard Square, an espresso at Simon's, a picnic lunch on a Harvard lawn, browsing used bookstores, Porter Square, iced chai at Cafe Luna, and a trip to Whole Foods! Simply put, Boston is beautiful and very bike friendly.

Day One!

And so it begins...

Claire and I are sitting in Coffeeco about to leave for Boston.  It is a bright sunny day and the excitement is building slowly.  It's tough to know when it will set in that we are going to be on the road for a month!
